What have we been up to…..

Our founding team have been busy advocating for kindness in law, since we officially came together in late 2020.

We have a strong focus on early intervention and working with the “next gen” of lawyers. To that end our associate members and university lecturers, Iveta and Anya, have been busy “imbuing their teachings with kindness” by inviting our founding team to speak at and contribute to lectures for their students, where we share our approach to the law from a kinder perspective. We've also contributed to articles, blogs and books, and Kirsty has even authored a book of her own.

In 2021, we were delighted to win a Peacemaker's Award in recognition of our efforts. In 2022, we had the privilege of presenting on the topic of "Kindness: The Secret Weapon in a Lawyer's Toolkit" at events hosted by the ACT and regional NSW Law Societies.

In 2023, our inaugural forum will see the “TKL movement” go national.
